About this Project
Located on a rugged mountainous promontory a simple brick ranch house was transformed into a collection of buildings resembling Andalusian architecture of southern Spain.
An informal auto court is transformed into a hill town plaza, beckoning the visitor to a multiple of experiences. Whether encountering a stairway, porch, patio, loggia, terrace or pool, a relationship with the adjacent rooms in the house is the allure the owners wanted to take advantage of the benign central Californian coastal climate.
