About this Project
After having two beachside residences in Costa Rica successfully designed, these clients wanted their Santa Barbara home transformed to enjoy the same semi-tropical life style. A spacious patio perfectly suited for quiet relaxation or entertaining was added to the kitchen.
Situated on a corner parcel in a residential neighborhood, parking was at a premium. Despite the challenge of a hillside site, an expansive arched carport was added below the patio deck of the existing garage.
A sweeping drive was engineered past the seven-foot-high stone retaining was to provide gracious access to this unique residence.
